Annotator Guide

Complete

Marking a file complete does the following:

• Marks the file "complete"
• Triggers a save (if not already auto-saved).
• Advances to the next task.

Case of no annotations

Complete can still be used even if there are no annotations.

Defer

Use for Difficult annotations or cannot complete for some other reason.

• Marks the task "deferred"
• Creates a "review" type task for this file
• Saves the file (images) or frame (video)
• Advances to the next task.

Note the new review task will include partial information from this task, so you can still annotate the parts you can do before deferring.
