Project

A Project scope is a top level scope. Everything relates in some way to a project.

A project is the primary way to manage users, organize data and more. A project can have many datasets. You may only need more then a few projects if you have 100s of datasets.

Within a project there a resources like labels files and guides. In general permissions for these resources cascade directly from project. Meaning if you can access the project as an Editor you can edit Labels in the project for example.

Jobs can be shared with the project, or with the org. Jobs support unique, more restricted permissions scopes.
